It can get busy during the weekends. You are allowed to feed the monkeys raisins and the other animals popcorn. So many different animals and a great place to take a break in the more rural part of Oshawa! There are food options available here as well and the workers here are very nice! Providing a positively delightful afternoon!This Zoo is pretty good. They would not allow this because they assumed we would lie about her age on all of our return visits to get her in for free.

There is a snack bar for burgers and hotdogs. Educational. The smallest kangaroo was the only one brave enough to come eat popcorn, and it took a lot of patience to get him to come up , eat and be pet.
I could have missed it but I didn't see any hand wash stations or hand sanitizer available which I think it's important since they do offer food..Wonderful experience for families with young kids, owners are very kind and offer free popcorn and raisins to feed the animals, food and drinks available for purchase but you can also bring your own and sit at one of the picnic tables. Maximum you need here is 1hr.Nice little petting zoo with LOTS of different animals. I could look it up on my phone while I'm there, but I'd rather be focused on my kiddos. I recommend you buy the popcorn to feed the animals which are $3 a bucketThis place is fantastic if you have young kids.

Will not be returning.Great spot to let the kids explore, run, meet the animals and learn. I've been coming to the Oshawa zoo for years with my family. Will definitely visit again and recommend it to all the other parents out there to go and visit this place. Traveling dogs can enter on a leash. Feeding the animals popcorn was a blast. But never feels overcrowded because of how big and open the area is. In this zoo, you can also hold small, cute chicks in your arms!
