The plot is excellent, interesting, well-thought out, and develops rather nicely throughout, with a twist that will keep you guessing. Was this review helpful? I would think The Joker would be insulted by such low-life copies of him...after all, he got pretty upset when The Creeper came around in The New Batman Adventures.

After his return as CEO is crashed, Bruce relieves Terry of duty, not wanting him to face Joker due to how dangerous he is, but after the Jokerz attack Terry in a nightclub, and Bruce is hospitalized after an ambush by The Joker leaves him poisoned with the clown's signature toxin, Terry decides to don the Batsuit to find out how the clown prince of crime is back from the grave and what he is plotting for Neo-Gotham.
The video and audio presentations are strong but most of the extras are a bit disposable. Until then, I'll just enjoy the movie the way Warner Brothers released it. Or at least one. But with superheroes. Although I’m a Superman fan, I had to buy this because I enjoy the movie so much.I believe this was one of DCU's first Blu-Ray releases, which would explain the lack of robust extras, but it's got another copy of the movie inside in DVD format, so that's kinda nice. It ties off the end of Batman Beyond by giving you a darker look at what Batman was up against, why his sidekick was forever traumatized, and the passing of the cool to the new Knight. I wasn't even sure about buying the movie before having seen it, but I am a great fan of Mark Hamill's Joker, so I was sure that even if the movie sucked, I would at least like the Joker.

Although I love Batman: The Animated Series, I was never much of a fan of Batman Beyond. Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features.
